About the Role

If you are hired and are not already a trained security guard, Securitas will cover the cost of your training.

The position is a summer temporary assignment, so we would like you to be able to start the job relatively soon and work until at least week 33. Securitas will assign you a schedule so you can plan your summer with both work and enjoyable activities well in advance! Whether you want to work day or night, in a fast-paced or calm environment, Securitas has the job for you.

Working as a security guard is perfect for you who like working with people and helping them in their daily lives. As a security guard at our office in Karlshamn, you will become part of a close-knit team. Shift lengths vary, but are often 12-hour shifts, either day or night. The schedule also includes weekend work.

As a security guard, you are responsible for performing guarding duties at several clients during your shift. You travel between clients by car and carry out various types of checks, including area guarding, indoor patrolling, alarm arming, and client closures. In this role, it is important to document your work and any deviations you encounter. The work is independent and often feels free, but comes with significant responsibility. The role of a patrolling security guard suits you if you want a job where you get to move around. Working hours are primarily at night.

• Category B driver's license

To investigate and assess whether you meet the requirements for approval under the respective legislation, a background check is conducted. Salary and employment conditions are based on collective agreements between the employer organization Säkerhetsföretagen and the Swedish Transport Workers' Union.
